The Local Area

The cottage is located in the heart of Haworth with easy access to all the places of interest around and about and close to all the local cafes and pubs. There are Chinese and Indian Restaurants and Takeaways in the village too.

It is also close to all the major bus routes.

The local area has plenty of interesting places to visit including the Bronte Parsonage (the home of the famous Bronte Sisters) and the KWVR Steam Railway is just at the bottom of the hill.

Further afield you will find Cliffe Castle Museum and East Riddlesden Hall, Skipton Castle and Salts Mill.

If you want places to walk there is always the beautiful Bronte Waterfalls leading you on to Top Withens, over the border into Lancashire you can carry on to Wycoller passing some spectacular scenery and moorland on the way.

If it's shopping you are looking for the local shops on Main Street are a must or a short drive away you will find Ponden Mills in Stanbury, or the Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley, alternatively you could even take the steam train and save the hassle of finding a parking space!

Bradford is only a short distance away with it's Museums and Art Galleries and Foster Square shopping centre or Leeds can be visited by car or train.
